Additional Adjustments: Auto-Resizing Cells to Fit Text
Once you've wrapped your text, you may want to adjust the cell size to ensure that the wrapped text is fully visible and doesn’t get cut off. You can either manually adjust the cell dimensions or use Google Sheets' auto-resize feature.
Auto-Adjust Row Height
- Move your mouse over the row number (the number on the left of the row).
2. When you see two small horizontal lines, double-click to automatically adjust the row height.
3. You can select multiple rows at once and apply this action to all of them.
Auto-Adjust Column Width
- Move your mouse over the column letter (the letter at the top of the column).
2. When you see two small horizontal lines, double-click to automatically adjust the column width.
3. Similarly, you can select multiple columns and adjust them all at once.
Tip: This feature helps ensure that your text fits perfectly without being truncated, providing a cleaner and more professional-looking sheet.
