Keeping your inbox organized can feel overwhelming, especially when you have a lot of unread emails. However, Gmail offers an easy way to mark all your emails as read at once. Follow my steps below to get started!
1. Open Your Gmail Inbox
First, log into your Gmail account and start organizing your emails.
2. Choose the Label with Emails You Want to Mark
Next, select the label containing the emails you want to mark as read. For example, you might want to go to your Promotions tab, or any other label with unread messages.
3. Select All Emails on the Current Page
In the top-left corner, you'll see a checkbox. Clicking it will select all the emails on the current page. But this only selects part of the emails! To select all emails in that label, click the blue text that says, “Select all conversations in [label].” This ensures you’re selecting everything.
4. Mark the Emails as Read
Once all emails are selected, right-click on any selected email. A menu will pop up. From this menu, choose Mark as read. All your emails will now be marked as read.
